CMS Consultant: Provided Autonomy/Interwoven expertise to client in the design and development of CMS solutions. Worked closely with the business community to understand and define business and functional requirements. Translated customer/business requirements into CMS design and technical requirements in all aspects of Autonomy/Interwoven (Datacapture templates, Components, Workflow, and OpenDeploy). Identified requirements to IT and development team including in depth discussions about specific development options and designs.
Worked in depth managing client understanding of design requirements impact on CMS design through series of client facing engagements. Worked with clients to understand and develop taxonomies, dynamic content scenarios, targeted content and segmentation previously unexplored within the organization.
Used best practice project management and business analyst structures to deliver measurable and trackable results.
TJX: Management of projects to change fundamental merchandizing systems and to implement the Oracle RPAS solution to enable TJX to modernize their IT systems; analysis of the requirements (global IT demands); streamlining their business practices. Project planning, risk management, budget planning, requirements gathering and analysis, documentation.
Management of the decommissioning of a chain of retail stores owned by TJX. Duties include management of IT system dismantling and the decoupling of systems from the integrated TJX workstack. This project provided the template for process TJX will follow for similar projects.
BT: Led the redesign and change in architecture of the BT Global Services Internet and Intranet: a) introduced a re-developed Enterprise Wide Content Management System (Interwoven CMS); b) switched to a XML/XSLT/CSS structure, which decoupled content from web layer allowing for 400% better change control efficiency and allowed for dramatic improvements in resource usage allowing for more work done by less people; c) introduced web analytics and personalization options. Provided Content Management System consultation and best practice expertise for BT. Gathered business requirements and produced details design specifications and test plans.
Independent Consulting (IBM, Phoenix Wealth Management, Commonwealth of MA): Administered and implemented Enterprise-Wide Content Management Systems for large corporations. Coordinated and instigated technical efficiencies and automation into existing work practices leading to IT cost savings. Authored functional requirements, developed methodology and best practices documents in the areas of eCommerce and Content Management strategy.
ZEFER Co.: Led the development of a Content Management System for multiple Siemens Business Units spanning several countries and languages using all modules of Interwoven ECMS. Analyzed several Gathered functional requirements for chosen business units, performed risk assessments. Documented process methods for entire group and created presentation for the Siemens’ Presidents’ Council.
